Killyleagh G.A.C
Killyleagh Gaelic Athletic Club was originally founded in 1917. Since then it has strived to promote gaelic games in the area drawing members from both sections of the community. Throughout the years the club has had teams at all levels in gaelic football, hurling and camogie and has been involved in the Scor Competitions which involves the cultural side of the GAA. In fact the club boasts an All Ireland title in the Camogie Scor Competition and won Club of the year in 1972 and 1976. The club has experienced mixed fortunes since its foundation and has been out of operation on a few occasions, however the clubs fortunes are set to change with the formation of a new committee.
