The five BOTB-One Finalists announced!
Congratulations to everyone who took part in our online competition. We were delighted with the extremely high level of interest in the competition and would like to thank everyone who voted for their favourite band. May we also thank all voters, on behalf of the participating bands for their fantastic support in this competition.
The five Finalists are:
•The Galway Hooker Band (from California)
•The Rogues (from Texas)
•The Father Teds (from England)
•Killmaine Saints (from Pennsylvania)
•At First Light (from Northern Ireland)
Each of the five finalists will be uploading a second and final video this week to secure their position in the final.
The five final videos will be shown on our website to help voters choose the winner of Battle of the Bands One
Remember you are voting for the winner of Battle of the Bands, flights for the band, accomodation and a gig in Las Vegas AND your vote gives you the chance to win flights from anywhere in North America to Las Vegas to watch the winning band perform!
All previous votes will be cleared and the final five will battle it out one last time on Monday 7th December from 00.00 GMT until 14th December at 12Noon GMT.
As the counters have been cleared, anyone who voted in the last round for their favourite band, can vote again.
Please remember when voting, it is strictly one vote per person and all multiple votes are cancelled so tell your friends to vote and help send your band to Las Vegas!
The winning band and winning voter will be announced on 21st December.
Due to a large number of requests, our Youtube channel www.youtube.com/irishbotb will remain live with all video entries displayed should anyone want to view their favourites again!
