The first of the Magnus Viking Association's television roles was in Channel 4's "The Worst Jobs In History", hosted by Tony Robinson. This involved illustrating how much stamina was needed to row a Viking long-ship and the less than pleasant details of how they transported ships over land, known as "portage".
